Having trouble running games with these specs.

Ok, so I have the following laptop pecs:

-Dell XPS 15
-8GB RAM DDR3 1333mhz
-Inter core i7-2630QM CPU 2.70GHz
-Windows7 64bit
-Nvidia GeForce GT 540M 2GB
-451 HD
screen res of : 1366x768

But when I run WoW it won´t go over 30 fps, same with all the other games. It also has an integrated graphics card (but the games detect the nvidia one).

A friend of mine has exactly the same computer but with a 1080p resulution, and all his gamesrun at 60. Could the screen resolution be the problem?

If not, is there an option to maximize the computers performance?

Just did and it fixed all my problems, when I was on some program it told me I needed no new drivers, so I went to nvidia and downloaded and installed them and it´s awesome! thanks
