Hi,

I apologize for asking this question when it's been asked 1,000 times already but I just installed Crysis from Steam and no matter what I do it never goes above 30FPS.

System:

i2500K OC to 4.2Ghz
8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
MSI R6970 Lightning at stock speed (940Mhz)

I tried 8X AA with Very High Settings and it capps at 30FPS.

I tried 4X AA with Very High Setting and it capps at 30FPS.

I even tried 4X AA with High Settings and it still capps at 30FPS.

I've enabled Tripple Buffering in Catalyst Control Center and done everything I could without installing any third party programs that allows you to force settings on the game.

Some help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Sounds to me like your monitor is running 30Hz. Vertical Sync caps framerate at the screens refresh rate. So if the monitor is running 30Hz, your game will not exceed 30 fps.

My monitor runs every other games at 60FPS. So I don't think that's the issue.
