This is old news. You have been able to buy a P4 w/ DDR for quite some time now. The 845-D is still not for sale, and won't be until next year or so.

i845D will officialy support only PC1600 DDR, that still sucks since PC2100 is already out, PC2400 is available, PC2700 is coming, PC3200 is proposed!

Intel needs to sell RDRAM, maybe thats why they are making other technologies look dull against it. First SDRAM ith P4 that was one of teh best jokes of the century, now DDR-100 only, then integrated graphics with a SDRAM chipset. LoL!

If you read the material from The Inquirier and Anandtech, you will find that Intel have changed their mind, and will in fact support PC2100. So hurrah...
