I have copied my old c: (boot) disk to a new (larger) one using Drive Image
version 7. Since then, the machine starts very slowly. I get rather
normally to the main login screen, but after having logged (as a user or an
administrator), it takes a very long time (up to 3 min) before I can start
working. Here are the programs that load at start-up and seem to hang and/or
to load abnormally slowly:
- Sound max Control Panel
- Norton Antivirus Autoprotect (sometimes does not load at all)
- ZoneAlarm (version 5.5.062) (takes sometimes more than one minute to load)
- Netscape 7.2 (Quick launch) (load sometimes very slowly)
- the network notification icon (takes sometimes one minute before appearing)
Any suggestion ?
