Game Install. Error ???

My son is home for the holidays & trying to install a new game, Marine
Sharpshooter - Jungle WarfareII on his 3 wk. old laptop. The error he
gets is: Cannot initialize rederer.

He has installed DirectX9.0 as instructed in the manual....even tho the
computer should have had the latest vs.

Any advice on getting this program properly installed & running would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link, Ted. Son has gone home now, but I will pass it
along to him. I Do apologize for posting to the wrong group.

DS had me trying to do 3 things at one time.......& was asking questions
the whole time. For one who has never taken the slightest interest in
learning the PC, he is suddenly wanting to learn Everything in one fell
swoop. LOL
