I have solved the issue of not being able to clock my mobo over 100MHz and anyone who has a kg-7 might want to note this. It turns out that it is the Thermo sensor that sits under the CPU when it is seated, it needed to be pushed down so it doesn't touch the CPU !!!
Hope this helps if anyone else is having the same prob.

By the way the CPU, Mobo RAM and PSU were all fine and haven't been swapped.
