When I go to start -> run, and type a volume (i.e. "C:\", "C:", "D:", etc) and hit Enter or "OK", it brings up the search window for that instead of the regular file window. Here's a screenshot of it:

If I were to type in a path within the volume, it pulls up the window normally (not search) i.e. "C:\Program Files"

Anyone have any ideas? Maybe a setting a set without realizing it or something?

I also just noticed that if I create a shortcut to a volume, it does the same thing (brings up search window for that volume). Not a HUUUUUGE issue, but very annoying - this problem decreases my efficiency by approximately 14.82954% =)

I did a system restore, and it corrected the issue. I think the problem was from when I was missing with file types. When I went to drives, all I did was change icon and save, but I noticed that "find" was in there so not completely sure what was going on there, but system restore corrected so no problem now.
