Does anyone know where I could download information to modify motherboard settings. I do not have the manual for the SiS 530/5595 Motherboad. Thanks in advance.
Not sure of what you're looking for.
If it's general info on the jumper configuration etc of your mb, you should go to the website of the manufacturer and download the manual !
Good searching :-)

its not the chipset, its the motherboard you need to know about. if you dont have the manual, you can download it from the manufacturer's website. and if you dont know the manufacturer do this:
start the computer and while it is counting memory press <b>Pause</b>. Carefully write down the line on the bottom of the screen. Note which is your BIOS, Award or AMI. Now let go the Pause key again.
The string you wrote down describes the motherboard. AMI and Award codes are different. If your BIOS is neither AMI nor Award, which is a rare case you can see the website of that company for the information.
You can go to <A HREF="http://www.wimsbios.com" target="_new">http://www.wimsbios.com</A> to lookup for the manufacturer. Once you get the manufacturer, follow the chipset/socket7 boards list and your can get to your board.
If you have any problem you can always post the motherboard ID string you wrote down here, I will be glad to help.
