Abit KT7-RAID With AMD Xp1600?

hey .. I Need To Know If A AMD Xp1600 Will Work on My KT7-RAID Motherboard... Please Help .. Thanks

  1. No, it will not. If it does run, it will run at 1050 instead of 1400.
  2. What's with all these people trying to run the Athlon XP on KT133 mobos? The Athlon XP requires a 133MHz bus to run at full speed. Please consult the manufacturers site before asking.

  3. I lot of us a are wondering about this.

    Ace's Hardware has an upgrade article where they managed to get an Athlon XP to work at 1360mhz, 13x107mhz, on an MSI mobo with the KT133 chipset.

    I haven't heard of any success stories (or failures) on a KT7.

    All you need to know, it wont work. Even some of the KT7A boards still won't support it. My KG7-Raid is quite happy with its 1800+ though, now all I need is my GF3 Ti500 and I'll be quite happy. :smile:
