BF3 and Origin

I tried to play my brothers copy on my computer but realized i need another copy for the code to play. I can't wait to play so I'm buying it in a few days. I was just wondering what stores the serial code as I'm upgrading my computer after Christmas. How will I keep the code to play on a new computer or is it stored on the origin account?

I really don't know much about these things so sorry if it's a bit confusing

The code will be linked to your Origin account.

It works similar to Steam man, if you redeem the code to your Origin account the game is yours forever according to you being the owner of the key. You can install the game on any PC, anywhere in the world as long as you log into your Origin account and you have the disc with you (shitty thing about Origin is that you still need the disc AFAIK).

tl;dr - Don't worry. The game is yours and won't go away.
