Problems with AMD AGP Miniport driver

Hello everybody,
I have a DFI AK76-SN (Northbridge AMD 761) mobo and a KYRO II AGP based graphics card.
The mobo includes the AMD AGP MINIPORT driver. I would like to know what is it necessary for. Which would be the difference beetween installing it or not?
Would the computer run correctly if I do not install this driver?

They usually increase performance. It will work perfectly fine if you don't install it.
