My computer is taking an awful long time to load at start up. While waiting
if I look in the task manager I have two svchost.exe Network Service
processes running. the one is using between 85-99 % of cpu and holding
things up. If I stop this process my computer loads right up. Why do I have
two of these processes and can I get rid of the hog.

Have you scanned your computer for viruses and spyware?

Yes, used ad-aware SE and spybot-search and destroy. No viruses or spyware.

Ad-Aware and Spybot do not detect viruses. And any anti-virus/spyware
programs needs to be constantly updated with the latest definitions to be
effective.

Do you have a third party firewall? This software would tell you if one or
more of your programs are trying to connect to the Internet.

Have you confirmed your network setup with your ISP?
