Office Tools: File Open Explorer Problem

Hi.

I have a Win XP PC that gives me irksome time.. It has multiple user
accounts and quite a few network drives mapped. But ONLY ONE of the user
accounts has the following wierd problem:

In any offcie tool (say Word), when the user wants to open a file of his/her
choice, the system takes ages to showup the files and folders list in the
"Open file" window even hanging the system some times.

Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.
