Tyan Tiger on Dual AthlonXP 1800+ ??

Im looking to buy a new pc for my 3d rendering work, cause its kinda queueing up and my current cpu cant really handle it (p3//500) I was especially intrigued by the tyan tiger mb, but i dont wanna insert AthlonMP processors (mostly cause i can only find up to 1200), so my question was if the XP processors currently for sale will work with the mb in dual mode

I am currently buying a tyan tiger mp....I found a veriety of athlon MP's at micropro.com all in stock from 1.2gh to 1800+'s. I wouldnt recommend using the xp's because they arent verified to work in a smp system, but some people have been lucky enough to get some to work. i guess the gamble is up to u, but i am just gonna go with 2 athlon mp 1600+ for $420 and not risk it.

i suppose you're right, but in belgium (or anywhere in europe) i cant buy an MP :s, if anyone from europe knows where i can buy these 1600+MP's plz let me know

the 100$ extra really isnt worth the risk
