the logitech dual action is hard to beat. i have had mine 4 years now and its still a good handset. but the reality is that M.S. have put routines into there gfwl which causes none 360 controlers to reverse there controls. meaning half of the games you will want to play with a pad will have to be adjusted to get the pads to work by hacking the pads(yes this is legal) controller dll.(simple to do but a pain none the less)


currently i also use a 360 pad. they 2 are hard to fault but i did get sick of the hardware drm from microsoft. to be honest i think the 360 controler is 1 of the better 1s but M.S. did pull a fast 1 with there GFWL titles.

360 controller is the weaker, bastard son of the illustrious Dreamcast controller! Dreamcast controller + Trio Linker II Plus adapter for great victory great success. Those buttery right and left triggers mmmmmmmmmm.

The best PS3 style controller for PC is the PS3 controller, plenty of info on the net regarding how to go about combining the two.
