Hi everyone,
My first post here, so please be gentle. I'm looking for a high-quality Micro ATX motherboard. I'm putting together a machine for the intention of attending LAN parties and wanted something a little easier to handle. Any recommendations? I'm thinking of using an Athlon processor, 512MB-1GB RAM, a GeForce 3 AGP card, PCI Sound Blaster, 3COM 3C905TX-NM NIC. Thanks in advance.

not necessarily the store you should buy it from, unless you live in florida. just look at another store...they will probably have that board. it seems like it will do what you want...
agp 4x, micro atx...socket a, up to athlon xp 1900+
should be a kickin machine...
just make sure that you put some fans in that sucker...with a gf3, and an athlon, it is gonna get pretty warm in there.
and anyways...if you are going to a lan party, that is the tie to have a modded case!
make everyone drool!
a good place to get some ideas for modding is from http://www.virtualhideout.net
they have guides, and a gallery full of nice pics...

Shameless bump.

Any other suggestions? I've scoured the ASUS page and checked out ABIT a little, but haven't found anything suitable. Is MicroATX just not supported that much?

Thanks.

micro atx usually is only made for oem computers...like hp, compaq, those sorts.
the ones that sell to the public are of that quality.
not that great.
they arent supported that much beause most people buy the full sized atx.
that is why it is going to be harder to find a mobo made by the nice name brand manufacturer.
but this one is made by msi...
which is not a noname company.
i dont know why you dont like this board!
it should be fine!
unless you really dont like msi for some reason!
