Hi questers,

Can anyone tell me where I can fish in Freeport's low lvl areas. I do not
have enough fishing experience for Commonland fishing. I know at Queyons
there is a couple of good ponds at the forest Ruins.

I do now know not to leave Refuge before a bit of craft.

Thx in advance

Certainly the docks in Sunken City.

K thx, I had tried the docks but perhaps they were on a respawn.

To fish in EQ2, you need to find water, then you need to find the various
fish nodes. You will be able to fish 2 or 3 times from each node, then it
will vanish, and you will have to find another. It is not generally hard
to find them, most water areas seem to have them. Look for things like
"school of fish". In some areas you may have to go into the water to get
close enough, and possibly even swim down under the water to them.

Thx m8 for the assist but I was asking where to fish not how to ). I have
spent a bit of time in the smelly waters around various freeport docks in
the vain hope of seeing a 'school of fish'

I had the same problem, they are in the Ruins and the Sunken City by the
docks only, most are down deep and you will be safest using a spell or
summoned item and swimming down to them. I was told East Freeport by someone
but spent ages looking and must assume that fish have been removed from
there now.

At least with the changes you only need 20 skill to move out into the
commonlands where fish are much more plentiful. Hope this helps you out.

Have not played in Freeport, so can't help you specifically, but, in
Qeynos, you can hit any of the newbie zones, head to water, and find
fish, I'd be quite surprised if Freeport is any different.
