My shortcut icons are messed up! PLS help

I tried a few custom themes yesterday and suddenly all the shortcut icons had a little box with a CD in front of them. I still can use them and all but i want to get rid of that thing pinned to the icons. Please help.

Have you tried going back to one of the default themes?

i myself am going though the same problem and no changing it to the default themes does not fix the issue is there anything else that could help me, my computer might not be at jeopardy but my sanity is cuz this is driving me nuts, i just want my original icons back.
