Tyan s2460

In the tyan s2460 ( http://www.tyan.com/products/html/tigermp.html ), can you use only 1 processor or must you use two? I heard that your HAVE to use two (multiprocessor), but i also heard that you don't have to (uniprocessor). Could someone clarify whether it can be used as a uniprocessor motherboard, i'm very curious.
