I can't seem to change the playback device from Speakers to Headset. Everytime I try to disable the Speakers it won't let me, and I have a microsoft lx 3000 hooked up and it shows it but it won't let me make it the default device. Please help! My mobo is a MSI PRO-E SLI board, and I've even updated the drivers but its not working! Please help!

As speakers and headphones use the same input socket, where have you plugged in the headphones?
