browser hangs

after SP2, IE6 seems to hang and not connect to a few pages.
when I go to adobe studio, it loads a banner and that's it. nothing more,
the full page loads through aol, but when it come to downloading, windows
opens ie6 and freezes.
anyone else noticing this?
