How to make your c & c generals run faster

Help me i tried to make C.C.G (command and conquer generals) run faster but i slowed the game's main menu and then when i tried to solve it its graphics ruined.If someone had the answer please don't reply here reply me on yahoo.My id is ahmednasim08@yahoo.com.THANKS

first off hit the edit button and delete your email from your message unless you like getting tons of junk mail

second, you probably don't have a very good graphics card

lower the resolution of the game, if it has options on video quality like low/medium/high, put it to low
