Can I safely delete "Windows debug dump" files? Inever saw them listed until
now.

Yes, delete them.

For Windows XP you could look at
System Properties> Advanced (tab)> Startup and Recovery> Settings>
Write debugging information
and set it to "Small memory dump (64 KB).
I'm not sure if that's located in the same spot under Win2K.
