I'd like to manage WUS/BITS on a laptop so that it's 'active' only when the
laptop is conected via LAN (IE - so that it doesn't attempt any download when
the laptop is connected via dial-up from my client's home). I know that BITS
uses only 'idle bandwidth", but I'd like to de-activate it altogether when
linked by dial-up.

Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

Anyone else suspicious of WUS/BITS when seeing 'sluggish' performance over a
dial-up link?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Pete
