What is the difference between the Epox 8KHA and the Epox 8KHA+ ? I see there is a $20 cost difference, but the specs look the same on pricewatch.

If I'm not wrong the 8KHA uses the KT266 chipset, while the 8KHA+ uses the KT266A.
Anyway, check that at the Epox's page.

Exactly!

The KT266A, if you are not aware, has better memory managment and thus is a faster chipset.

Happy computing!

hehe, the + makes all the difference. Be SURE you get the 8kha+.

With a 1900 XP, windows XP, G3 TI 500, corsair Cas 2 ram, i ran 8.5k on 3dmark 2001 in the default bench. No overclocking, stock out of the box. The radeon only runs 8.4 k with the same setup.

Great, Thanks for the info. Would you recommend another motherboard over this one?? I have read that the 8KHA+ is one of the best boards for DDR and a AMD T-Bird.
