GA-7DXR + ATHLON 1.4 PERFORMANCE

I am new to this and would like to know if anyone could advise me on the following issue. I recently upgrade to a Gigabyte GA7-DXR, Athlon 1.4, 256MB DDR, Radeon VE 64SDR. After installing I performed a clean install of Win 2K and then ran 3D Mark 2001. My score was 1315, which when compared on madonions site is pretty crap. Any advice........

Make sure you install the AMD AGP miniport driver. This vastly improves performance.

When installing the Via 4 in 1's, make sure you 'uncheck' the AGP driver.
