Celeron 800 on Converter

I have an Ecs P6Bat-A+ v.2.0 mobo Bios 5.6 running with a 466 Celeron (Ppga) on a Slot1/Sock370-Converter, But I want to put a Celeron2 800 on it. The converter supports ppga and
fcpga. the mobo supports Celeron 800, but the thing doesn't
work!
Any suggestions!

Can you change the voltage on it?

You have to set it to the FC-PGA setting, aka "PIII" setting, as the "Celeron" setting is for the older "PPGA" processors.

Sorry, it was set to fcpga! Voltage: 1,75 as marked on cpu

Yes you can change voltage, it was set to 1.75v as marked on the cpu.

Set it to 1.85V, a lot of those older boards were VRM 8.3 (or earlier) and won't supply anything lower then 1.85V.

JCLW is right, the Coppermine core can easily accept 1.85v, and that setting is needed to make it work on some boards.
