AthlonXP + Easy Tune

I've managed to get my Gigabyte GA-7dxr up and running with a Athlon XP1700+, but when I try to get the processor up to speed and save the settings (it says it's running at about 1100mhz), it doesn't seem to store. It shows system bus @ 99.9mhz and the chip running at 1098.9mhz.

Anyone know how to change & save the settings?

All & any help would be appreciated.

Hey A,
Check your manual, I believe there is a "Jumper" for 100 mhz or 133 mhz "FSB" or system bus. Switch it to 133 mhz. You have a 266 mhz fsb, but it is really a 133 mhz at Double Data Rate or 133mhz X 2= 266 mhz. To get into the Bios settings you most likely hit the "detete" key shortly after you press the PC power button. Once you are in the bios, I'm sure you will see the menu and option Exit and Save Settings. First read the manual and find the hardware/mobo jumper and change that cap. Good Luck!
