PC GAME SOUND DISTORTS/STUTTERS

I CAME ACROSS THIS ISSUE AND IT IS REALLY IRRITATING
When i play some games, the in-game scenes are fine and the music plays as long as i stay still
when i move around the music and conversation stutters.
the conversation will be like speak-cut-speak-cut....untill i stop moving
i don't experience any display issues though

games like crysis 2, prototype, batman arkham asylum, battlefield bad company 2 worked fine

but games like bastion, fallout 3, mass efect 2(partially and occasionally), call of duty black ops(occasionally)......stutters

help!

outside gaming......i have no issues with sound or anything.....listening to music and watching movies are perfect

What kind of GPU are you using? and did you up date the drivers for the card?
