Howdy,

I was wondering if anybody else has been having issues with getting java based applications to work with a dual core athlon?

I have no problem with applets in the browser...but I cannot use stand-alone java apps properly. In particular I cannot run Matlab with the java GUI enabled or Netlogo (which is entirely in java). I downloaded the newest JDK and this didn't seem to help...on top of this I tried downloading the amd64 version of java...but it won't install because it says I have an unsupported processor.

Any help would be greately appreciated thanks!
