Hey, check this out.
<A HREF="http://www.tomshardware.com/technews/index.html" target="_new">http://www.tomshardware.com/technews/index.html</A>
I wanna see some benchmarks on this baby!

Seems the issue with overheating and burnout protection is finally fixed!
Scroll down the page a bit to: AMD’s AMD Athlon MP 1900+ and AMD-760 MPX chipset.
Am I seeing things or is this going to be heaven!

I've heard that on boards with the MPX chipsets you can't use dual XP's anymore. The board goes into single CPU mode when it detects an XP CPU. Anyone that can confirm this???

Yes I believe that is true from what I have heard. Read the third article in that link above, it mentions it will run only on one XP cpu "single mode". I have also heard and don't know if it's entirely true that XP's are failed MP's or at least the less likely chips from a waffer which kind of rings true. But no doubt someone will come up with a crack/fix in time to overcome this.

Yes, it's true.

But it would only take a BIOS hack (beyond my capabilities, but I'm sure someone will do it) to change that.
