wants to build a pc based on a MSI k7T 266 mainboard and an Athlon XP 1500+.
Are their any problems that I could expect
other specs

Thermaltake Volcano 7
DRR 256 MB
Maxtor HD 40 GB

Also need a graphics engine (quite cheap :))
Geforce (Gainward) MX -200 -> is it ok

Sounds about right. I built my computer just like that except its 1600 with Volcano 6. That was the first time I put a computer together and aside from learning as I went, I didn't run into any problems. Should be fine.

DON'T use a 266! That chipset is a dud. Get the Pro2 266a. The 266a is a much superior version. I have the Pro2-RU and I love it. Stable and fast.
