A7V266-E and RAID

Hello People,
Can the RAID controllers on the A7V266-E be used as regular ATA100 controllers ?
What are the motherboards that let you do this ?(Besides Soyo K7V Dgragon+)

I cant get the Soyo in India, hence the issue. What I can get is ASUS, MSI, Soltek, AOpen.
Whats the best choice among these ?

The RAID controllers can be used as regular ATA-100 controllers. Asus is an excellent board, but costs more money. I've read reviews on the MSI and it sounds OK too. Don't know about the Soltek and AOpen.

I have the ASUS A7V266-E and yes you can use it as a regular ATA100. I have a WD 800BB HD and a Yamaha 2100e burner on it. It improved the Yamaha a lot on burn speed.
