What Controller for PC games and Emulators?

Hey all, I was looking around at Tiger.com but am having trouble finding just a regular PS3 style controller to use on the PC for games like MW3 and a few Emulators...

What controllers do you guys use? Bluetooth, USB, whatever connection does not really matter to me.

You could use an actual PS3 controller with the motioninjoy driver (google motioninjoy). Works with a usb cable or wirelessly if your computer has bluetooth.

I tend to use a wireless Xbox 360 controller with the usb wireless receiver.

Really? Can you use the knockoff PS3 controllers?
And is it better to use Bluetooth or USB wireless, or are they both consistent with the signal?

I thought all PS3 controllers were wireless/bluetooth?

I've owned the rumble pad for years. Very solid and also works on my PS2.
