tyan MB cheap no return policy

I recently purchased a tyan motherboard that has a socket 1 and a socket 370, the socket 1 was humming along fine, I decided to upgrade to the socket 370 1 gig p III, the cpu was installed and the fan along with it. The plastic tabs broke off, now the motherboard wont work, tyan says their 3 year warrenty dosen't cover broken tabs that it is called motherboard mutilation. ANY IDEAS?!

You could use a Slotket in the Socket, or try repairing the socket with epoxy. There are also a few heatsinks out there that use the outside clips.
