I'm treating myself to a new PC since I haven't upgraded since college. Having never built a PC from scratch before, I'm going gung-ho with the following:
300W power supply
MSI SiS645 chipset mobo
P4 1.6 478-pin
512MB of PC2700 (that's DDR333 to you, mister)
PNY Geforce3 Ti200
Still need a sound card

Any tips? Suggestions? Requests to post benchmark tests or experiences? Anyone think I may be over my head here?

I really want to hear your oppinion.
I really want to know how stable the computer (SIS645) were.
Please post about it.

And I want to know what OS will you use. I'm not MickySoft user, and it would be great if you could give your user experience when using Linux. I'm using SUSE Linux 7.3Pro.

Sorry, I'm no power user. Looks like Win2K right now. Just waiting for the case and DIMM's to arrive.
