More about freezing
  1. Do you get BSOD's or is it just that the computer freezes up?
  2. Open Task Manager, look in the list of programs running, sort by CPU usage, and also by RAM when you check that. Any programs using up a resources?
  3. Turn off Hibernate or Sleep or both. Also try another usb port or mouse.
  4. Does the HDD make a ticking or clicking sound?
  5. sorry for the late replies, out of town for a bit.
