System won't always boot with Epox 8KHA+

For some reason my system won't always boot. I recently upgraded to an athlon xp 1600 with an epox 8kha+. It has the newest bios. Any ideas why it would be doing this? It will just hang where it tell the cpu speed sometimes. If I reboot a couple of times it will eventually boot.

I'm sorry to hear about your problems. If you check out the EPOX's website under the XP compatability page. You will notice that certain EPOX 8KHA+ do have a problem with AMD XP processors ,even though after flashing to the new BIOS.

You might have to get in contact with the manufacturer to have them check it out.

Read up on the XP compatibility page at EPOX.com. I remember something about getting the problem fix.
