Is there a way to assign "hotkeys" to certain folders in my hard disk? Like if I press the NumLock button, it opens a certain folder?

If you create a shortcut to a folder or a file, then you can add a keystroke shortcut. Do this

1. Create a shortcut to the folder you want.
2. Right click on the shortcut and click properties
3. In the box "Shortcut key" type the key you want to open it

It will automatically add "Ctrl + Alt" before the key you choose, so for your example you would have to press
"Ctrl + Alt + NumLock"
