ASUS A7V266-E Reboot Issues

Just bought a new pc - asus a7v266-e, 1.8 AMD, quantun fireball plus as, enermax 350w, vantec cck-6035d. Put it together and built it with win_xp. All works great - super fast!, however, every time I try to restart the pc (Start - shutdown - restart), it hangs at the last stage of the shutdown process (this also RARELY happens when I choose shutdown instaed of restart). I do not beleive that this is OS related - this was happening during ALL stages of the OS install.
Error log looks fine, Bios is current, and I have triple-checked the jumper settings (re-built the pc twice also). Any advice or ideas?

Nothing seemed out of the ordinary when checking IRQ assignemnts so I went back to the BIOS. Apparently, there are two places to disable the onboard audio (I had only found one before). I disabled this as well as set the "plug and play bios" option to NO, as recommended by Microsoft. Problem solved - I should have been more thorough with my BIOS settings from the start. Thanks for the help.
