Hi this is the first time I have ever posted a message in a forum so I
hope I get it right. The thing is I have SP2 installed (that dreaded
term SP2!) and my windows update software is not functioning. I had it
set to automatic and northing was happening so I switched them off and
tried to use Windows Update Manually. When I did so I recieved an error
message telling me that their is a faul in my Windowesa Update software
and it gave me links to troublseshooting sites etc all of which I have
found to be of no help. The number of the error meassage I am getting
is 0x80244001. Although this is the fiorst time I have recieved this
error message with thisnumber I have had problems for as long as I can
remeber now with Windows Update.

And and all advice is grawtefully accepted. I am a newbir to computerts
and am findiong it so confusing.
