I have started getting STOP errors in XP.
I hadn't installed any new hardware, so I updated all drivers and still got them. Figured it was failing hardware, but just to be certain I have reformatted, and they don't go away.
The error is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, but it never lists a driver that's to blame. Errors actually appear to be much more common on a COLD system - shortly after start-up, but I have seen them when its been running for a while.
I got some relief by moving my network card and modem to different slots, but the crashes have returned. I've run memtest and passed the full-tests with no problems.
Any suggestions on how I can narrow it down to a specific component (other than just removing each component in turn and hoping for the best?)
Thanks!
