Can anyone tell me if the Soyo Dragon + offers support for PCI Bus bridge chip?
Your mobo's PCI bus bridge chip is VIA chipset, so just installing your VIA 4-in-1 drivers (should be included in your mainboard CD).

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.

OK, Thanks. I guess what I am wondering is whether the Soyo Dragon + mobo BIOS will accept an AGP graphics board with a PCI bridge chip on it. At present I do not have access to any Dragon + materials, and I cannot get through to their support people.

I want to capture Hi8 and digital video. I am considering the Radeon 8500DV since this graphics card seems to allow me the ability to capture both video formats, supplanting the need for additional capture hardware. According to the Radeon blurb the mobo BIOS requires PCI bus bridge support. Unfortunately, Radeon does not specify whether the Dragon + is supported.

Alternately, I am open to other suggestions...

Thanks again,

Carl

Looks like you're fine with that combo. Check out some posts over at rage3d forums. In particular here's one that says it works fine with many of the latest boards, including Dragon Plus. You could probably e-mail someone who's using it just to double check. Good luck.
