I have had two Crucial 128Mb PC133 Cas3 dimms in my KT7A for a few months and it's been working great. I added a Kingston 256Mb PC133 Cas3 dimm this morning and the POST stilled counted 256Mb instead of 512Mb.

I removed the two 128Mb's and put the 256Mb in slot1 and booted, the machine saw 256Mb. So I put the two 128's in slots 2&3, still showed 256Mb. Tried each 128Mb separately and each showed 128Mb.

Any ideas why it doesn't want to count beyond 256Mb?
Thanks in advance...

Maybe something wrong with its DIMM slot #3. Did you try to put just 1 stick of RAM to slot #3 to see it can show correct amount?

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.

if your slot 3 is ok, are they both the same, register or not? Maybe they don't play well together. Thats all I can think of.

What RAM timings are you running them at? Not just the CAS, but the timings for each DIMM (eg. Normal, Fast, Turbo, etc)?

The new dimm is not registered, the two 128's are so I guess that is my problem.
Thanks for the help!
