Presario 2110ca bios update problem

I have a Presario 2110ca notebook and need to update the bios.

When I try to update them I get an error message: "This BIOS is not for
your notebook pc." I have tried bios updates for most 2100-2110 notebooks
but all say the same error message.

My notebook says Presario 2100 on it but has a sticker saying model
no:2110CA.

I've tried compaq/hp support but they haven't got a clue.

Any help would be appreciated.
