windows updates, all applications frozen

After I've installed windows updates and restarted computer, error message
"DrWatson Postmortem Debugger has encountered a problem and needs to close.
etc" pops up and after that nothing reacts to mouse click. This happens every
time I reboot the computer. Any advises please?

Have you tried booting into safe mode? (press F8 key repeatidly after
turning on.) If it boots fine in safe mode goto start --> Run --> msconfig
and goto the startup tab. Uncheck everything that is listed in there.
Reboot, and if it works fine, then one by one keep repeating the msconfig and
add 1 more check with a restart (I hope that makes sence) so you can figure
out where the problem lies.
