Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.perform_maintain (More info?)
I was having a small problem with a McAfee component and their chat help
line asked to delete entries in C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\Local
Settings\Temp
I did but they all reappeared in the folder as # 2/3/4/5 and so on .. why?

This is normal since it is temporary workspace for any applications that
might be running.
