New highest system requirements

This thread is for people who are going to buy a new PC and want to know that it will run all the current games
at least on high settings (60FPS @ 1080p).
The new records are from the system recommended requirements (not VR requirements) .

New Intel CPU record: Core i7-6700K (4.0GHz). Record breaking game: Project CARS 2

New AMD CPU record: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X (4.0 GHz). Record breaking game: Project CARS 2

New RAM record: 16GB. Record breaking game: Star Wars Battlefront

New Nvidia GFX record: GeForce GTX 1080 8GB. Record breaking game: Project CARS 2

New AMD GFX record: Radeon Pro Duo 2x4GB. Record breaking game: Conan Exiles

New GFX VRAM record: 8GB. Record breaking game: Conan Exiles

New HDD space record: 130GB. Record breaking game: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Legacy
*SSD recommended for smooth gameplay

    I don't think those system requirements were "requirements", more I think hardware they have tested the game on and they know work.

    I do not know what the game could possibly load into ram that would require 16 gigs LOL.
  5. they are the recommended requirements not the minimum... the extra ram is used like a ssd where textures and the likes are stored for fast access minimizing load times and disk access.

    This thread is for people who want to buy a new PC that will play ALL games at ultra settings, so I try to update as necessary when new records are made.
    A normal search in google to find the latest highest requirements yielded disappointing results.
    I personally doubt that this game will actually max out 12 CPU threads.

    In the first requirements release it was 8GB, then it was updated to 4GB.

    Well it has been updated, but is was one of the first games if not the first itself that recommended 8GB of RAM, hence the "New RAM record". Today there are other games that recommend 8GB of RAM but they are certainly NOT the first.
