Since inastalling XP SP2 the sound on my computer does not work. When I check
the hardware profile it says the drivers are installed and working properly
and yet I get absolutely no sounds at all, system sounds nor other sounds.
TGhe speakers are plugged in and working as I do hear the feedback when I
sign off. I have a SoundBlaster Live sound card and Boston Accoustic
speakers. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

SP2 should not have affected sound card drivers.
You can right click on the sound card in Device Manager and attempt to
update the files letting XP go off and look for new files, but I'm confident
that the Microsoft site won't have any.
Check all the settings for your sound card, it may be that 'mute' has been
selected or some silly hting such as that.
If you can't resolve the problem, go onto the SOundblaster forums and see if
you can't get your answer there.
