Star Wars Republic Commando Steam Errors

So I bought Star Wars Republic Commando Last Night On Steam and Let it download overnight, I woke up and wanted to play it and I click launch in steam libary

it says "Cannot Find Steam"

So I went to the steam folder and found the star wars folder, and clicked on RCLauncher and it opened and then I clicked on launch Game. And It says "Please Insert RC DVD"

What I don't understand is That I bought the game on steam why would I need a disc?

Does anyone know a fix?

Just Proof that I own The Game

EDIT* So I Restarted Steam and When I Click "Launch" the Logo Pops up, about to launch the game and it goes black for a second, then says Star Wars Republic Commando Has Stopped Working.

I just ran into this exact same problem. Go to your steam folder and make sure both Steam, and the RC exe are checked for 'Run as administrator' in their properties.

I also have the RC checked as 'run in compatibility mode win xp sp3'


I'm using win7 ultimate 64.

[edit]: I should also mention i had to deal with avg trying to catch a system dll. Just ignore or add an exception if this happens, though it only seemed to happen during the initial dl from steam.
